The KRAFTGEEK selfie light is a compact fill light ideal for travel.

This lightweight, tiny selfie light contains 40 LEDs and is very bright. You can toggle between three colour temperatures and levels of brightness. (When I’m stranded in an airport during an extended business trip, I appreciate that warm colour, which makes me look less exhausted than I actually am.) There are three levels of brightness as well.

The light recharges via a USB C port. The battery life is projected at over ten hours, and it lasted me on a week-long trip.

The MagSafe mount sets the KRAFTGEEK selfie light above similar lights. If your phone or case is MagSafe compatible, the light sticks securely to the phone with no fussy attachments. I tried it with my iPhone 12 mini, which has a thin case, and my iPhone 16 pro, which has a thick, armoured case. The KRAFTGEEK selfie light clamped securely to both. The clamp also works well on a metal pillar or file cabinet. KRAFTGEEK makes a MagSafe tripod, and this light also works perfectly with it.

The light has a metal hinge that allows you to angle the lamp for optimal lighting, and it is used to close the lamp when it is not in use.

Controls are tactile buttons, and while a detailed instruction sheet is included, the operation is intuitive, and you’ll not need to read it.

Weighing only 68 grams, less than a deck of cards, you’ll not notice this in your pocket.

The KRAFTGEEK is a well-designed and well-built selfie light. It’s replaced my previous selfie light, which used a finicky gripper to attach to my phone and always wobbled. The light is the ideal size for use on a phone. It takes up no room in your crowded computer bag and will always show you in your best light! :-)

This KraftGeek Magnetic LED Light is a compact and lightweight light for iPhone 12 and up, or any phone that uses a MagSafe sized magnetic ring back or case. It attached securely to my Pixel 9. The light has two buttons, a power button that also adjusts the 3 brightness levels and a colour temperature button to switch between cool, natural and warm light. The light can pivot slightly more than 180 degrees, making it useful as a selfie light which is great to all more light when the lighting is poor. It is also great for video calls. I also found the light is useful to add some additional light or fill light to closeup shots. The light is compact enough to carry anywhere and is rechargeable via USB-C.

I LOVE this little selfie light. I have been able to use it with ease and it works very well. I love how portable it is, whether it is attached to my phone with the magnet or just in a bag. I highly recommend.

This little light is great if you take a lot of selfies. You don’t have to clip it on your phone-it snaps on the magnet and holds plenty firm. The light has 3 tone adjustments and is rechargeable, so no batteries needed.
If taking freehand video or photos it works great. The light is right on the back of the phone, not to the side, and no worries of it falling off or slipping. The light is not super bright, but definitely enough to enhance your selfies. It folds to a nice compact size to easily slip in your purse or pocket.
The downside: Can’t be used with a tripod or other phone holder if you want to video products, take a group photo (with tripod), or use a selfie stick.

Handy and easy to use light for content creating, it has different color options which is great.

I love this magnetic light and the selfie stick/tripod that you can buy separately but go together! I bought another one for my granddaughter and now my grandson wants one too so it looks like I will be buying a 3rd! They are great for making videos and taking pictures !

Does what it’s advertised hence the 3 stars. The light needs to be a lot brighter, would not recommend for content creators. Great for selfies that are an arms reach.

If you're looking for a compact, reliable light for your phone, this little gadget really delivers. The strong magnet keeps it securely in place, whether you're using the front or back camera, and it offers a bright light that makes a noticeable difference, especially in low-light conditions. The ability to adjust both brightness and color temperature is a nice touch, giving you more control over your photos. The rechargeable battery lasts long enough for a full day of use, and charging via USB-C is convenient. This also works as a makeshift flashlight in a pinch. Overall if it weren't for the price I'd say this is a good deal, unfortunately at $33 CAD and even with the current 14% off deal it's still overpriced.
