This light fits my new stand well but I think the light could be a bit brighter.

The Limelight is lightweight, screws easily on and off the stand, opens out to give a wide area of light at two levels, and the batteries are straightforward to remove and replace. It’s by far the best music stand light I’ve ever had! So glad I added it to my order!

1. The stand itself. While I like the ease of use, portability and weight of the stand, the critical aspect for me is the inability to adjust the music deck to a better angle to be more horizontal. This makes the stand quite useless and blocks audience members from seeing the performer and the performer seeing the audience.
2. The Lumi light is also a casualty of this critical flaw: as when I put the stand at the height I need, the light itself blocks a clear view of the music! And it is unable to be adjusted.

The light does its job, but there are several disappointing aspects. First, the fact that it doesn’t have a rechargable battery but needs three batteries, and there is no way to see when they need to be replaced. Then, the battery compartment is difficult to open. Then, the angle of the light tubes is fixed. So to prevent the light from shining into my eyes I’m forced to lower the stand and/or setting the stand quite steep. If I had been able to see it in real life beforehand I wouldn’t have bought it.

The LumiLight works good. It lights up the music similar to other lights. Like other lights, the bottom of the page isn’t as lit up but it should be bright enough to read. There is no gooseneck so you can’t just clip it on and bend it to where you want it. It can’t accidentally get knocked off your stand. I’ve only used it a few times but I think it will be fine for your dimly lit performance needs.

The LumiLight fits well and looks good on the Capsule Music Stand. It does a great job illuminating the clue sheets. It’s good to have photons ready to go if the venue decides to dim the lights cause the crowd is getting into the mood. A must have accessory to the Capsule Music Stand.
