KraftGeek Music Stand

I love the music stand which is ideal for me. However I do have one concern and that is the stand feet do not lock after use. When I close the sides to the stand they do not close tightly together leaving leaving a slight gap at each of the three sections. Consequently the locking ring at the bottom doesn't close properly securing the feet/ legs.

Thank you for your review. There is a twist-and-lock button at the bottom of the music stand. To secure it, first close the footer when the lock is released, then twist the button to lock it in place.

Care needed

Be careful collapsing the stand - got my finger pad caught between the tripod legs yesterday - snapped shut on the skin - blood everywhere.

Follow up: it needs to be taller

I have extold the virtues of your well made stand, but that was when I was sitting down. I am 6 2", and imagine my surprise that when standing the bottom of the music is at my waist (40"). If I am truly reading that means I am hunched over - hardly proper. I need an added segment to the lifter. Still giving it a 5 as I will use it in sitting gigs.

Thank you for your review of our music stand. The max height of the music stand from ground to the top is 66''/168cm, from ground to the bottom of the desk is 128cm/50''. It is more than 40''. This should place the music at a more comfortable height for standing use. Would you mind double-checking if the stand is fully extended?
