I'm using this to take to my life drawing class. It's perfect. Well, sort of. Like others, I saw the problem with the open section between the two support pop out bars. I solved that by cutting a piece of masonite to bridge the gap, and that's for when I am using a smaller sketchbook. The legs pull out similar to using walking poles. Some people complained that it slid out while they were working. I am sure to tighten up each section. I sort of compulsively retighten them if someone bumps into the easel. It's funny...they are popping up in my class! One at a time others are ordering them, too. We're each getting different colors. I love how lightweight and streamlined it is. I kind of wish that the marking lines were on the top section. I think I'll use a Sharpie and mark my own.

Works great for me. Seems solid. I like how it latches to the canvas. Perfect height for me and im pretty tall. Obviously on highest setting. Goes up and down easy enough with the twist locks on the legs. Looks nice. No complaints.

Could have a TALLER range option, but really a great easel. I like an option to be able to look a bit UP to my canvas, this is a bit of down gaze

This easel is quite light compared to some other compact easels I’ve tried. It arrives incredibly well packaged, and is easy to store. Setting this easel up is fairly intuitive. I like that this fits a majority of canvas sizes, and certainly any size canvas you might want to travel with for outdoor or location painting.

This easel comes fully assembled. It looks modern with clean lines and seems to be of excellent quality. It is made from aluminum alloy. Aluminum by itself is corrosion-resistant and lightweight; combining it with other elements improves its durability and strength.

When folded, it only measures 19.8 inches and weighs only 3.9 pounds, making it portable and easy for storage. It is convenient for artists to paint outdoors. On the top of the easel there is a quarter-inch screw mount that will allow us to attach adapters for phones or cameras. Its web page states that it can bear up to 11 lbs. but I do not think it is a good idea to load it with such a heavy load.

Its height can be adjusted from 19.8 inches to 65 inches tall. Extending its height is done by pulling the legs out and twist-locking it. When twist-locking these legs, we need to be very careful because if we do not do it right, it might tip over. Please do not twist-lock each section of each leg individually. Pull all the sections of each leg out to the length you want, then hold on to the non-slip silicone pads at the bottom of each leg to twist-lock. Make sure it is secure before loading it with things.

It will take time to assess how reliable and durable this easel is. If it fails to meet my expectation, I will revise my review accordingly. For now this gorgeous easel is stable, sturdy, and flawless, and it performs excellently. This product is a bit pricey, but it is worth considering.

This easel is high quality and sturdy. It was easy to set up and take down. Love the wood look!

This easel impressed me with its quality. I would say it rivals some of the high end photographic tripods I own – solidly built, smooth operation, sturdy platform. It’s not cheap compared to low end easels but I think the extra money is well spent. The engineering and quality stand out immediately.
