Capsule™ Lite Music Stand

My friend in orchestra has been using this music stand for 4 years and recommended to me. We both play the violin. I love this because it is light to carry and easy to assemble. It looks so cool that other friend who plays the cello in the orchestra asked me which brand my music stand was. Slowly spreading the KG stands in my orchestra!

We absolutely love the Capsule Lite Music Stand! I bought it for my daughter’s violin practice, and it has made such a difference in our daily routine.

I purchased the capsule lite for a trip to Europe. I needed something light that would fit compactly in my carryon luggage or backpack along with a reduced size carbon fiber violin I purchased for quiet practicing on the road. I’m using it to practice in parks, outdoors on the windy deck of a ship and in more normal rehearsal and concert settings. It is a breeze to set up and collapse, easy to throw into my backpack and the clips are fantastic. They not only keep my music from blowing away in the wind, but my pages don’t flap around like they do with my old school collapsible stand with the wires on the bottom that are designed for the same purpose. It also looks very nice and professional.

I absolutely love every about this music stand and will probably be gifting it to others in the future.

I just love my KraftGeek. It is so easy to assemble and fits in my bag when folded. A joy!!
One minus. You can't rotate the legs which is a pity.

A terrific music stand, light to carry, fits in a music bag, quick, easy set up, and quick and easy to fold. Lovely.

I mostly enjoy this stand. It serves its purpose well, with a few minor gripes. I wish there was less flex in the legs of the stand. This isn’t a huge deal but the stand bounces a fair bit when I put an iPad Pro on the main part and makes me question its overall stability and durability.

My biggest gripes are that the stand light angle and height cannot be adjusted and the head cannot rotate at all. I have some scores that are quite tall, and essentially cannot be used with the light since it screws on in a fixed position.

I also occasionally need to use this stand in pretty cramped spaces. As a cellist, it’s helpful to be able to rotate the head to bring the stand to a good angle while still having space to put my endpin. This is perhaps a very niche gripe but not having full rotation of the head joint is very inconvenient.

Probably the best and lightest music stand I have owned. I also have the light and iPhone attachment which have proved very useful. Even during the day the light helps me see the sheets more clearly, using rechargeable batteries ensures I’m not having to keep buying new batteries. With the attachment for my iPhone it does mean if I need to move the stand, I always manage to put it in the way of something or someone, I take everything with me.
Overall a well made stand, easy to assemble and sturdy.

Item arrived damage out of box. I was able to get ahold of customer service and they sent a new one! Waiting to see what condition it arrives in. Otherwise I love how the stand fares in the variety of conditions I’ve been putting it through
