FlexyMount™ Phone & Tablet Holder

A very handy attachment to the craftgeek music stand. I recommend getting this if you are purchasing the stand. It keeps everything in one place and it’s easy to see your setlist on your device and any sheet music / clue sheets you may need. Combined with the stand light you are all set. My only warning is that if there is too much weight the stand can start to drop down.

Useful piece of kit, built specifically for the kraft geek stands...which have the mounting screw on point below the music stand which in my opinion isnt high enough, as you have to raise the stand to see a phone or tablet from that distance, especially as you get older! But having the screw thread and style the same as camera mounts means you can screw it to another type of clamp and have it high up on a mic stand for instance! The only other issue is the clamp bracket depths are bad for phones in cases and so you have the be careful to make sure its gripped it or take the case off which is a pain. Otherwise all good, nice and compact and lightweight.

Arrived promptly as expected. The packaging is well thought out and of good quality. The tablet and phone holder itself is of a good quality and is cleverly designed, allowing you to easily select the right opening and pressure for it to clamp and lock your device in. Overall I'm very happy with the device. I just need to find an arm now to clamp it to my painting easel.

Shipping was shit. Everything else was fantastic. Customer service and product was second to none.

Stand is compact, robust and easy to assemble.

Having owned many iPad mounts, most end up having too many limitations. Either they’re inflexible, too bulky or cause the stand to tip over in some configurations. With Kraftgeek’s mount, it functions seamlessly with the stand as though it’s all one unit. One of the better setups that might not be fully documented is to use the mount on the top rather than middle of the stand and fold back the arms. It’s a narrow-case use, but perfect for me. The result is a very steady mount that doesn’t block sight lines.

Sturdy & strong springs, but I have to either use an iPad without a hinged front cover case, or no case. That kind of hinged cover when open is not compatible with the V-grips on the FlexyMount, which are good. It's not a FlexyMount problem. It's me having a pre-existing wrong iPad case. I'll find one. I can see it will be a good solution.
