Capsule Music Stand

I was so hesitant to buy this stand, as there are so many cheaper options, but you really do get what you pay for. The KraftGeek stand is built to last, super portable, and the light and phone/tablet holder are very well thought-out in their design. Despite my initial hesitation, I have never a believer. I would definitely recommend this item to any musician looking for a quality stand that will stand up to the test of time.

The Capsule stand is by far and away the best music stand I've ever used, including non-portable. Simple to set up with very important features I added (light, mobile device holder) and all fits easily into it's case/gig bag. I've had portable or collapsible stands that eventually give out, including some "high end" ones. This one is the real deal - everything they note in their online literature is if anything an understatement of how the actual stand is in person.

As a professional Musician for 53 years (Toronto Musicians Association Local 149 - Life Member), I have worked with and owned countless music stands.

This is by far the best music stand and light, from one Manufacture, KraftGeek!

The flexibility, the craftsmanship, the engineering and the practicality work perfectly for me!

If your a musician and smart smart tablet user i would highly recommend get a Concerto Combo (Stand+Bag+Device Holder+Light).

This is what I personally thought while seeing this device and I get it confirmed from anyone else when I used it amongst colleagues.

While it is light, portable and easy to set-up, some things are quite annoying. The upper part could easily be smaller, as you rarely need more than “A4 height” while playing. The upper part is then unnecessarily sticking out, but we are talking about small, portable stand after all. The clamps are almost unusable, as it takes a lot of time for clamping, especially when changing sites of sheet music. The gum parts are also not the greatest feature, as sheet music often gets on them stuck when changing sites. If you do it quick and not being careful (which honestly occurs often while playing), you could easily end up tearing the sheet. I also don’t like that you cannot tilt it back more-this actually bothers me the most. (I think with the Lite version the angle is bigger, but then again, it’s made of plastic).
Still, it is a nice stand and I think I can live with those little flaws.

Very easy to assemble! So sturdy good quality item.

Love it. Been through so many music stands, I must have thrown five or so away. This is sturdy enough for a real book and compact enough to through in a backpack.
