I love the fit and finish of the sands. Great design. Happy to see a smart use of metal construction in a contemporary purist look! Construction is much better than the phone stand and that's a good thing!
- Telescoping aluminum tubing stability is between a home stand and a cheap portable one. It's just okay and understandable considering the portability gain. unsure if they will get loose overtime. Cross finger it last the repeating slide action.
Couple of draw backs:
- Clip spacing is a little short for light music books. Probably a collapsible length design compromise.
- The rubber edge prevents to easily flip the music sheets. Will likely try to peel it off trying not to damage the paint. I wish it was a clip on.
- The light is really useful and fits well with the stand, but too much of an after thought. One can't plug-in the cable with battery inside (not to charge. just to save batteries). Material, switch, etc feels cheap. Should be a quick connection rather than a threaded attachment.
Wish list:
- Better light.
- Clip on rubber edge.
- A pen accessory that doesn't interfere with the music sheet.
- Music folder accessory that acts as a rigid backboard. Currently made my own.
